That was back when lightweight and underpowered bikes actually tested the rider's ability to get them through rough terrain for a week and keep them together and running. It was more a test of the bikes and riders than a race.

damn thats crazy on a mtb. Ive done that size jump on a motocross track but not even close on mtb!!

the only thing I would be scared of is if the jumo was wet and I landed and the bike just slid out from under me

If you haven't been to Llandegla then you should go I think its Brilliant especially B-line and the new red parts still it was sad the bike used to do the jump in the video was stolen.

That was pretty cool, do you happen to know about how fast he was going on takeoff, only because there are those new Stealth bikes out there ow that on the highest model the batteries they run on, the top of the line model can go over 50 miles per hour on just the batteries, I bet he could have flown furthur if he was riding one of those......
